At the end of September 2023, we were please to host the High Sherriff of Essex, Mr Charles Bishop, and his wife Nellie, during their visit to the Shoeburyness facility.
They showed a pleasing interest in our displays and asked a number of pertinent questions. The visit was scheduled to be only 30 minutes, with so many other things to fit into the morning, but so great was their interest that they stayed much longer than scheduled and finally had to prise themselves away.
